Candelito

Candelito is an Amsterdam-based soy wax candle brand rooted in Latina heritage and the belief that scent is memory. In a market full of products that smell good but say nothing, Candelito was built to occupy a category of its own: cultural, emotional, and deeply personal.
Our work covered the full brand build, from strategy and positioning to complete visual identity. This included brand architecture, audience development, voice and personality, a full logo suite, color palette, typography system, and a brand pattern inspired by the azulejo tile tradition of Latin America.

The logo suite combines a warm serif wordmark with a personal handwritten script accent, striking the balance between elevated and approachable. The brand symbol, inspired by the light and glow of a flame, is bold enough to stand alone and refined enough for premium packaging. A scalloped secondary logo nods to handmade goods and market stalls, the kind of packaging your abuela would save in a kitchen drawer.
